This wonderful telephone was just a minor exhibit at the Mysore Railway Museum, but it leapt out at me. I love the contradiction of a telephone receiver demanding to be left alone – and being slightly phone-phobic, I felt an immediate affinity! I don’t know about anyone else, but I’d love to know its story…
